Synopsis: Madeleine is 92 years old and feels like she's lived a good life, and now it's time to decide when to depart from this earth. When she tells her children, Diane and Pierre, she hopes they will understand her decision. But her children are shocked by her news and are not willing to accept her decision. To the very end Madeleine keeps her dignity, humor, and joie de vive, all qualities she hopes to pass down to her children, and especially give her daughter Diane a final lesson.
