Synopsis:

När Dustys (Josh O’ Connor) farm förstörs i en skogsbrand hamnar han på en husvagnscamping för personer drabbade av naturkatastrofer. Livet som cowboy på ranchen är hans identitet – men eftersom marken anses obrukbar får han inga lån för att bygga upp den igen. Den nya livssituationen får honom att söka stöd hos sin exfru och samtidigt återknyta kontakten med sin nioåriga dotter. 'Rebuilding' är en rörande, poetisk och varm berättelse med vibbar av 'Nomadland', om vikten av sammanhang och andra människor för att resa sig igen efter en katastrof.
