Synopsis: Elvaåriga Michael ska segla jorden runt med sin familj och hunden Stella. Det magiska äventyret blir till en mardröm när de fastnar i en storm som sveper Michael och Stella överbord. De spolas i land på en öde ö och måste lära sig hur man överlever i vildmarken. Det inser snabbt att de inte är ensamma på ön. Vem är den mystiske mannen och vad vill han?
