Synopsis: The year is 1943 and France is occupied by German troops. The parents of thirteen year old Fanny send her and her sister away to an orphanage for jewish children, to keep them safe. As the Nazi's draw close the orphanage plan to move the children to the Swiss side of the border. Fanny and her sister are among the evacuated children but they are stopped by nazis and captured. Now they have to do everything they can to escape and get to safety. The film is based on a true story.
