Synopsis:

Varje dag kör Jay runt sin taxi i Tokyo och letar efter sin dotter Lily. Under de 9 år som han varit separerad från sin fru, har han aldrig fått vårdnaden av sin dotter eller fått träffa henne. Han har nästan gett upp hoppet på att få träffa henne igen och är så gott som på väg att flytta hem till Frankrike, då Lily hoppar in i hans taxi. Men hon känner inte igen honom.
